My current planner lineup for 2022 has 3 core elements. I use an A5 slim Jibun Techo, a Rhodia Goalbook and a 3X5 traveller’s notebook. These three pieces have been the core of my planning system for quite some time.
The A5 Jibun Techo is the hub of my planning system. It houses all of my plans, goals, projects and future events. The various layouts included in this planner make it easy to divide information into useful sections. Although there a few pages that I do not utilize, the majority of this planner is used in a functional way.
My bullet journal is an A5 Rhodia Goalbook. This contains all of my daily happenings, that are not work related, in detail. Everything is logged here, whether it occurred on the go or at home. I decided on the Goalbook rather than a plain notebook because of the extra planner pages included. The Goalbook starts with content pages and two types of yearly overview pages.
My traveller’s notebook contains two notebooks. The first has a monthly calendar. The calendar has my work schedule and any work projects. The second notebook is a kind of commonplace notebook. It holds everything that I want to make note of when I’m outside of the house. My notebooks in the TN are regular 3X5 notebooks. I prefer stitched to stapled notebooks. However, I do use both. This TN is the only planner that is used both at home and on the go.
An A5 Filofax is my reference planner. This is a supplemental portion to my planners. This planner has all of my least used, but needful information. It contains information that is normally accessed only one or two times a year. This planner also contains the breakdown for long term projects.
My planners and the supplemental combine to form a system that works for me. These planners are working together to keep me organized for the year.
