My additions are items in my lineup that are not planners. There are three items that I am currently using that fall into this category.
My add on lineup consists of an A5 Filofax, a small notebook and an A5 notebook. I am using each of these items in a way that I wouldn’t call planning in the traditional way.
My A5 Filofax binder will be used as a reference binder. It holds any information that I need to keep, but it is used infrequently. I have lots of dividers in this binder. I keep information that I access maybe once a year to random bits that I think may be useful in the future.
I am using a pocket Moleskine as my small notebook at the moment. This is the notebook that I am using for my language learning. Previously, I used Field Notes notebooks, but I wanted a notebook with more pages. This way I have a larger reference resource in one place. I may need to rethink the size of this notebook though, because it is filling up quite quickly. However, I don’t want to try writing in something too large. I fear that I may begin to feel overwhelmed or intimidated by the size of my notebook. I’m still having a bit of a dilemma over this, but it’s working for now.
Finally, I am using an A5 Onyx and Green notebook as my reading journal. I read a fair number of books each year. I want to journal about the books that I am reading. My thoughts both while I am reading and when I’m finished. I’m looking forward to this bit of introspection.
These are the extra notebooks that are in my 2021 lineup. These notebooks while not planners will help me to keep myself on track even if it is just the peace of mind that comes with knowing where information is stored.
