The Campus A5 notebook by Kokuyo is beautiful in the hand. I recently found this notebook in my local bookstore. I was on the hunt for an A5 size notebook that was big enough to add to my travelers notebook without adding bulk. A space suitable for random notes, ideas, brainstorming and writing. This looked like it would check all the boxes.
This notebook immediately draws the eye with brilliant colours. When I discovered this in my local bookstore, it was available in three colours. A vibrant pink, lime green and light blue were on display and I bought each colour. There are 40 pages which is 80 sheets of very smooth paper. The notebook has a dot grid pattern with horizontal lines.
The paper is a bright, white colour. Each page has about 12mm of space at the top before the first line. In this space, there is a place to write a number and the date. There is an 8mm space between each line. The first two lines and also the last line of each page are blue. The writing lines are light gray in colour. The notebook has a very slim profile making it very portable.
There are 21 lines on each page. There is a tiny number on the outside edge of each page. Every fifth, tenth and fifteenth line is numbered. The numbering is very discreet and is the same light gray shade the majority of the lines.
This notebook seems to be ideal for everything I need and more. I’m eager to begin using it.
